Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using FollowPaid at followpaid.com ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

FollowPaid is a SaaS platform that connects to your QuickBooks account to automatically send invoice payment reminders and Google review requests to your customers via email and SMS.

3. Account registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. QuickBooks integration

By connecting your QuickBooks account, you authorize us to access your invoice and customer data via the Intuit API to provide the Service. You may disconnect your QuickBooks account at any time from the Settings page.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to send unsolicited or misleading communications.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation, including anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, TCPA).
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Resell or sublicense the Service without our written consent.

6. SMS messaging program

FollowPaid sends SMS invoice payment reminders and review requests on behalf of service businesses to their customers. The following terms apply to all SMS messages sent through the Service:

• Opt-in: SMS messages are sent only to recipients who have opted in by replying YES to an opt-in invitation text message. Consent is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
• Message frequency: varies, typically 1 to 3 messages per invoice.
• Message and data rates may applydepending on the recipient's mobile carrier and plan.
• Opt-out: reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. No further messages will be sent after opting out.
• Help: reply HELP to any message for assistance, or email support@followpaid.com.
• Carriers: mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• No sharing: phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent data are never sold, rented, or shared with any third party or affiliate for any purpose, including marketing. Data is used only to deliver the messages the recipient consented to receive.

7. Subscription and billing

The Service is offered on a subscription basis. Plans and pricing are listed at followpaid.com/#pricing. A 30-day free trial is available for new accounts. After the trial, a valid payment method is required to continue using the Service. Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial periods.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your requirements.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FollowPaid shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes by email.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the applicable courts.
